Dr. Shirley Halleen

A long-time coach and administrator at the University of Sioux Falls, Dr. Shirley Halleen began at USF in 1969. She coached women’s athletics at USF for 20 years, serving as athletic director for five years. In addition, she coached basketball, field hockey, softball, tennis, track and volleyball. In fact, she led the USF Volleyball team to two SDIC Championships in 1980 and 1981.
