With only two short seasons with the Cougars, Leo Fenceroy made a tremendous impact with the football program as a two-time NAIA All-American. He is considered amongst the top five all-time defensive backs for USF with four forced fumbles and 15 interceptions throughout his career.
In 2001, Fenceroy was named an NAIA Second Team All-American with 37.5 tackles and one tackle for a loss on the season. He also tallied nine interceptions with 14 pass breakups and one forced fumble. Fenceroy was a part of the 2001 NAIA Championship game for the Cougars where they took runner up with a loss to Georgetown College.
During his senior campaign, Fenceroy tallied 37 tackles with four tackles for a loss. He also collected two sacks, 19 pass breakups and six interceptions for 104 yards and one touchdown while on defense. On the offensive side of the ball, Fenceroy was considered one of the most dangerous punt returners in the SDIC with 43 punt returns for 443 yards and one touchdown during his senior year.
Following an outstanding senior season, Fenceroy was named to the 2002 NAIA First Team All-American list and graduated from USF in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration. He currently resides in Fort Worth, TX with his wife Sotheavy where he works as an assistant principal.
