Colin Koth, originally from Sioux Falls, SD, ranks as one of the best sprinters in USF history. In 2008, he was named the GPAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year which would set the tone of his collegiate career.
Throughout his first two seasons with the Cougars, Koth was named the 2008 GPAC Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the year as a freshman and was crowned a 2009 NAIA Indoor Track & Field All-American and National Champion in the 400 meter dash. He would then add two more All-American honors to his resume in 2011 for the indoor and outdoor 400 meter, and rounded out his junior season as the USF Male Student Athlete of the Year. Koth finished out his career with NSIC All-Conference honors in the indoor and outdoor 400 meter and the outdoor 200 meter.
