The 2010-2011 USF Women’s Basketball team was the only team to make it to the elite eight of the NAIA National Tournament before transitioning to NCAA Division II in 2012. They also made USF’s first NAIA National Tournament berth since 2003.
Throughout their historical season, the Cougars put up a record 27-6 season while averaging 73.5 points per game.
The team was led by Laura Johnson and Jamey Hofer, who averaged 10.3 and 10.2 points per game, as well as Elizabeth Hildreth who shot 54.4% from the field.
The 2010-2011 USF Women’s Basketball team members included: Holli Aggen, Jessica Austin, Chelsa Baxa, Bailey Bouman, T-Yanna Devericks, Elizabeth Hildreth, Jamey Hofer, Kelli Hoff, Laura Johnson, Vanessa Johnson, Elise Maresh, Abby Mendlik, Baileigh O’Brien, Brooke Olson, Christina Strassburg and Larae Zimprich.
The team was led by head coach Travis Traphagen and assistant coaches Chelsea Deville, Tom Goehle, and Stephanie Reiter.
